A number of copper models of 4th to 6th dynasty date was analyzed by x-ray fluorescence and atomic absorption. Some were also examined in the scanning electron microscope. Most of those analyzed were essentially copper with only traces of additional metals; however, two objects contain quite high iron content. -- AATA
