Abstract
A large number of Egyptian silver artifacts was analyzed by x-ray fluorescence and mass spectrometric isotope dilution analysis. The results showed that some have low gold content, suggesting silver from foreign galena ores. Many contained sufficient copper to indicate deliberate alloying. For other studies of silver artifacts, see also AATA 17-748, 18-1647, and 19-1833. -- AATA
