A technical description of the two helmets which are made of iron covered with bronze sheet decorated with repousée patterns, which in tum is coated with thin gold foil. They are too small to have been worn by anyone except very young persons and were probably used for ritual purposes; they date from the 4th to 3rd centuries BC. See also AATA 20-2143 for related study of metal finds. -- AATA
