Abstract
A new army of more than 1600 small terracotta figures, approximately 16 inches in height, were found in 1984 in China's Xuzhou City. Dating from the Han dynasty (206 BC-AD 220), they show the influence of the lifesize figures found in 1974 in Xian. Each of the three categories of warriors was cast from the same mold. Some attachments, such as quivers and heads, were cast separately and are movable. -- AATA
