Abstract
The Madara Horseman in Bulgaria was examined and w was found to be in need of consolidation. Three consolidants were tested: 1) Drisil 773 (Dow Corning; polysiloxane in white spirit); 2) X54-802 (Rhone-Poulenc; methyl methoxysilane); and 3) Sandsteinverfestiger OH (Wacker; tetraethoxysilane). -- AATA
