Abstract
In the hope of curing certain defects of stone materials due to their porosity, they have been combined with synthetic resins. In this article three main manufacturing procedures are described: impregnation of the material by vinyl resins, addition of the resin when deteriorating, and replacement of the cement by an organic binder.
