Petrographic electron microprobe and neutron activation analyses of Uboid type pottery found along the shores of the Arabian gulf have demonstrated that it was all made in Mesopotamia. The archaeological implications of these results are discussed, together with details of the scientific techniques and analytical results. -- AATA
