Abstract
Several glasses in the Corning Museum, New York, made during the late 19th and 20th centuries and relating to ancient types are divided into four categories: (1) Reproductions -- replicas based upon a specific prototype or technique (2) Historicizing Glasses -- copy-es executed without faithfully reproducing an original (3) Conglomerates -- pieces made from fragments of unrelated objects (4) Forgeries -- vessels created with the deliberate intention to deceive. -- AATA
