Abstract
The shape of a Uchimigaki-toishi is similar to a thick knife with hand grip, and the edge was used to polish up the inside of the curved part of a Magatama, a comma-shaped bead. The samples collected at Tamayu-cho are made of crystalline schist which was transported from the eastern part of Shikoku island or its extension of the Sanbagawa metamorphic belt.
