Abstract

All life stages of the greater wax moth Gallerial mellonella (L. ), were killed in 5 hours or less when they were exposed to a concentration of 97. 2per thousand CO2 at 100Â° F. Also, 3-or 4-day exposures to 95.7per thousand CO2 at 50, 60, 70 and 82Â° resulted in high larval mortalities.
