This short missive is a letter to the editor of the Journal of the American Chemical Society regarding the solubility of salts in water containing a high concentration of H2H20. In this instance, the solubility is markedly less than in ordinary distilled water at the same temperature. Further investigation should show other interesting differences between the two liquids as solvents.
