With the described ultrasonic welder (standard current converted to 40,000 cycles/second, causing a mechanical vibration of 40,000 cycles/second), two-hundred 9 by 12 inch documents could be encapsulated in 10 hours. Three mil mylar can be welded at 2 inches per second. -- AATA
