Multielement analysis is of essential importance for archaeometric studies of historical objects of inorganic and organic objects. It permits not only a precise definition of their materials, but it contributes also to the identification of time and place of origin, of the social or political situation during the period of their manufacture, or of their authenticity. -- AATA
