In the Museum field objectives and methods change, sometimes rather rapidly. A hard cover book is quickly outdated and inflexible. This notebook was compiled with the idea that it could be added to from time to time. The owner can add his own notes as he finds the need arises. Some items have been borrowed. Authors and sources are credited in such cases. Errors that may have crept in are mine for in order to prevent the notebook from becoming a ponderous, unusable tome, liberties in editing were taken. Details of personal experiences may have lost clarity for the sake of brevity. This notebook does not attempt to give step by step procedures. Its purpose is to give a resume of material and methods in order that you may get some idea of what might fit your needs and proceed from there according to your resources. Information easily obtainable in other sources was eliminated.
