In this study, color changes in sewing thread made of polyester fibers by conventional laundering and drycleaning were investigated on the basis of reflectance, K/S values, color difference, tristimulus values, wavelength, and excitation purity. It seems that the color changes were due to the reflective index of the oiling agents rather than the cleaning process. -- AATA
