The Martindale flat abrasion resistance of lightweight wool worsted fabric is improved by treatment with non-polar chlorinated solvents, including perchloroethylene. Some improvement is achieved with temperature increase, but the optimum effect is obtained only by prolonged extraction. -- AATA
