Abstract
Strength properties of wrought iron can be determined by metallography and microchemical analysis. The quality of the iron depends on the size and distribution of its slag fibers and sulfur and phosphorus content. The importance of good slag in the production of quality iron is discussed. Results of analysis of the slag inclusions in five samples of wrought iron are reported. -- AATA
