Abstract
Describes a process in which old photographs are stripped from their cardboard backing and rolled up and placed in a plastic tube, which is then lowered into the core of a I-megawatt swimming pool reactor, thus causing the silver and gold and other activatable elements in the photographic emulsion to become radioactive in order to restore faded photographs and documents.
