Report on a series of tests to evaluate the effectiveness of the enzyme amylase in the hydrolytic reduction of bonding power - in paper restoration, the loosening of strongly glued surfaces for cleaning. 4 types of paper and 3 degrees of bonding strength were investigated. The enzyme was applied in various concentrations and allowed to work for various time periods. Results of the starch hydrolysis are given for each amylase solution.
