Abstract
Anisotropic coefficients, relating tangential and radial shrinkage, are tabulated for 86 Indian timbers. Relative density was found to have no effect on the anisotropic nature of wood. Each timber is classified as dimensionally stable or less stable in relation to teak. -- AATA
