Abstract
The techniques used in the analysis of titanium dioxide pigments are x-ray fluorescence, x-ray diffraction, atomic absorption spectrometry, inductively coupled plasma emission spectrometry, spark-source mass spectrography, gas chromatography, infrared spectrometry, electron microscopy, thermal analysis, and autotitrimetry. Each one provides information which may be used to build up an overall picture of the pigment. -- AATA
