Based upon a collaboration between a geologist, a classical archaeologist, and a statistician, this paper illustrates how a significant technique (<sup>12</sup>C, <sup>13</sup>C, and <sup>16</sup>O, <sup>18</sup>O, stable isotope signature analysis) and statistical treatment, coupled with stylistic analysis can help to reconstruct commercial connections of Cyrene. -- AATA
