Abstract
Physical properties of pulps prepared from 15-month-old trees in Thailand show that the best species for pulp and paper are Albizia falcataria, Eucalyptus camaldulensis and Acacia mangium. Leucaena leucocephala was the next best species followed by Casia siamea, Casuarina equisetfolia and Acacia auriculiformis. Calliandra calothyrsus and Gliricidia sepium were considered unsuitable for pulping. -- AATA
