Abstract
A description is given of the treatment of decayed and sound pine and sound oak from the hull of the <i>Wasa</i>, which sank in Stockholm harbor in 1628 and was brought to the surface in 1961. A climate of 60% relative humidity and 20°C is recommended for its permanent museum storage. -- AATA
