Abstract
Some hot process patinas were applied on test pieces of tin bronzes. The results are presented together with examinations of the specimens with respect to the behavior of the bronzes and the obtained thin patina layers. A climate chamber test was made to compare the stability of the patinas. The test cycle combined chemical attack, water action, and thermal effects in one operation. Test data are given together with observed surface phenomena.
