Abstract
The Stained Glass Overlay process is described: colored and printed Mylar polyester film is permanently adhered to a glass or acrylic surface and an outline of lead alloy is applied to both sides of the surface. The strength, durability, and dimensional stability of Mylar are the advantages of this method to using conventional stained glass. The pigmented Mylar also serves as an ultraviolet filter, a feature particularly useful on exterior windows. -- AATA
