Abstract
The results of the joint excavation and restoration activities carried out in 1983 by an archaeologist and restorer in Békés county. The objects found in the graves of the Iron Age Scythian burial ground pointed to rituals and finds that were different from other Scythian funeral practices. In a cremation grave, bone-plates of unidentified purposes were discovered. Since no similar constructions have been discovered so far, the cooperative effort of the archaeologist and the restorer was aimed at precise documentation and in situ removal so that future research might be possible. See also AATA 22-399 for reference to book.
