The standards for vibration contral at home and abroad were summarized. The factors that should be considered in mirco vibration control for historic buildings are proposed. Some problems in Technical specifications for protection of historic buildings against man - made vibration are analyzed. Based on the existing research results in this code, a method for lowering vibration control limit for historic buildings is proposed, in which conservation history and current conditions of historic buildings are considered. Finally a matrix for controlling micro vibration for historic buildings in cities is proposed.
