Using bibliometrics, a statistical analysis has been made for papers published by Sciences of Conservation and Archaeology between 1989 and 2008 in terms of number of papers, paper subjects, information density, distribution of papers by first author, geographic distribution of articles, and distribution of author' organizations. The results of this study provide quantitative data regarding research activity, growth, and information circulation in conservation and archaeological science.
