Abstract
An oral history of Pat Reeves' thirty years of professional life. Her involvement with Paracas textiles is deeper and has lasted longer than that of any other professional in the field. During a two-year Fulbright Fellowship in Lima, she was able to set up and develop an important program of textile conservation, teaching students, raising donations to help build a modern facility and take care of new discoveries. The symposium in her honor has made evident her enormous contribution to textile conservation and to the knowledge of the prehistory of Peru. -- AATA
