The Museon (Museum for Education) has moved to a new building with a large, well-equipped storage area. The experience in the former situation, in various unsuitable buildings, had made the conservators aware of the conditions desirable for the new museum. The new building is shared with the Municipal Museum of the Hague, but the storage rooms are separated and separately air-conditioned, because of the differences in the collections. Some of the imperfections, the dimensions, climate (20°C and 45-55% relative humidity), light and dust control, and fire prevention measures are also described.
