The bulletin is written for non-conservation museum staff and covers the fundamentals of Navajo weaving and rug properties. It lists the proper environmental parameters for woolen rug display. Two methods of mounting a rug are described in detail: attaching a cloth backing through which a cloth covered metal rod or wooden dowel is inserted, or attaching a cloth backing with velcro strips.
