Abstract
The characteristics of an adhesive which is to be used on paper are described; commonly used adhesives are listed, concluding with mention of the authors' own preference. The disadvantage of the cellulose glue MC-40 S is that it is rather weak for strong or even-surfaced paper. Recipes to improve this glue, using gelatin, are provided. -- AATA
