Abstract
Treatment of serge white lining (woolen) with ureaformaldehyde resin has been found to impart to the fabric satisfactory resistance against microbial attack, but does not make it completely mothproof. Dry-cleaning or soap-washing the treated fabric does not lower its resistance to attack by microorganisms and insects.
