This note is a reminder of the different steps involved in restoring a piece of antique glass. The example used is simple; the principles illustrated were used in restoring the Besançon Oinochoë (see article in same section by Joachim Blüher). The products used are Araldite AY 103 mixed with the hardener type 956; the filling of gaps was done using Plastogen G first colored with dyes used for painting on glass. -- AATA
