Abstract
Nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) was used to study the effect of waterborne primer-sealers on the sorption properties of wood. Results indicate that the molecules from two sealer compositions bind to wood by hydrogen bonds of different strengths, which produce differences in the hygroscopicity of the treated wood. -- AATA
