Salvage, conservation and restoration are described. The protection and reparation of the individual parts was done with Polyglycol 6000, and the back sides were consolidated with Plexigum lacquer P26. Afterwards, the PEG was removed with water. After a test in the humidity chamber in which no further bloom was found, losses were filled with Araldite SV426. The lock was reconstructed in Plexiglas and ill available original parts remounted.
