Since the surface of the armor was very delicate, neither the usual derusting methods, nor electrolysis could be used. Therefore, it was cleaned with a mixture of 4 pts. hydrogen peroxide and 1 pt. ammonia. The details of the ornaments were preserved, and some additional ones were made visible again. The blueing was restored with Outers Gunslick Gun Glue 450. and the ribbon decoration was re-etched. R.W. -- AATA
