Certain bacterial organisms find an adequate physical-chemical and nutritional environment in aqueous emulsion paints. The authors experimented with five organisms in a vinyl acrylic paint culture. Their results indicated that such paint films are definitely susceptible to such bacteria and that new investigations should be made into preservatives of these paints. -- AATA
