Abstract
Discusses modern pottery production at the New Kingdom site of Deir el-Ballas as it relates to the manufacture of archaeological ceramics, such as the nature and extent of specialized production and the degree of standardization in form and decoration. Neutron activation and x-ray analysis were used to show a similar method of manufacture for both modern and ancient samples. -- AATA
