At the initiation of the International Foundation for Art Research, Inc., two meetings were held, one in New York and one in Washington, to explore the possibility of the formation of an International Archive for Records of Stolen and Forged Art. This report summarizes the preliminary reactions and discusses the areas for possible implementation.
