Abstract
Peeled sheets of paper were fixed to the wooden baseboards by application or injection of an approx. 15% solution of an acrylic resin emulsion ( Primer AC 34 ). The treatment for preventing the flaking of pigment layers was carried out with a 24% aqueous solution of P.V.A. or a 10% solution of acrylic resin. 85 tablets at <i>Arakawa shrine and 52 tablets at <i>Hakusanhime shrine have been restored. -- AATA
