Optimizing the equipment for producing high pressure (ethylene-vinylacetate)-copolymers requires data and models for the phase equilibrium conditions at high pressures. Information on the system ethylene + (ethylene-vinylacetate)-copolymer is important for this purpose. Experimental results (cloud-point curves) and models calculations (coexistence curves) are presented with particular attention to the dependence of vinylacetate content of copolymers.
