Abstract
There are only a few methods for extracting water soluble salts from porous materials, and they lack practical simplicity. A new method for their extraction has been found for materials containing coarse pores. It is based on the impregnation of the mentioned materials with concentrates of (preferably monomeric) alkylalkoxisilanes and of (preferably oligomeric) tetralkoxisilanes.
