Abstract
Analyses of obsidian from this neolithic site show two different compositions. The analysis methods were arc emission spectrography, flame emission spectrometry, and ICP (plasma arc) -- 20 elements total. Previous work on Anatolian obsidian sources is discussed. Field work and analysis of obsidian sources in the Bingöl-Solhan region showed that one (Çavuslar) showed two compositions, the same two which are present at Cafer Höyük. The source has thus been located, and has proved to contain obsidian with more than one composition. -- AATA
