An improved method of predicting chromatic adaptation under different illuminants is presented. In particular, the new method predicts the decrease in yellow discrimination when changing the adaptation from daylight to incandescent light. Accurate predictions were also obtained for visual estimates under five common fluorescent lamp types. -- AATA
