The 40 tables in the book collect together in a very convenient form essential technical data on neutron activation analysis. After a brief introduction, the Tables section is divided into physical data (cross-sections, isotopes arranged by atomic number, gamma-rays arranged by energy, and recommended gammas with notes on interferences, and gammas for PIGME -- prompt gammas). About half the book are Tables of concentration data on National Bureau of Standards Reference materials (both quoted and literature concentrations) and U. S. Geological Survey Standard Rocks.
