The main analytical methods used for analysis of pyrethroid insectides and especially of decomposition products of this compound are reviewed. The application of volumetric methods, colorimetry, infrared (IR) spectroscopy, polarography, bioassay methods, gas chromatography and high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) is discussed.
