Abstract
Studies of the biodeterioration of wall paintings at Nagaur were undertaken. The main objective was to identify the microflora in the hot and dry environment of Rajasthan. The ultimate idea was to evolve methods to control the growth of microorganisms. Simultaneously aerospora were also studied. For control of fungus, a 0.02% solution of p-chloro-m-cresol in rectified spirit was sprayed on the wall. -- AATA
