Abstract
This publication presents the results of some work done on Indian art objects including large-sized scroll paintings, miniature paintings, wooden panels, repoussé work on canvas; and Japanese scroll paintings. The contents are: restoration of gilded repoussé work at Raj Bhawan, Ooty; conservation of murals in the Raja Parikshit Chhatri, Datia; restoration of a badly damaged paper document; conservation of a long paper scroll painting; conservation of a bark painting; repair to two army service books; conservation of a long painted scroll on paper; restoration of a painting on wooden panel; restoration of a unique painting on cardboard; restoration of a Japanese scroll; restoration of three miniature paintings with a problem of color change; restoration of a double-sided paper miniature painting.
